Adult Sabbath School

The Seventh-day Adventist Church conducts weekly Bible studies for all age groups in almost every church around the world. The Sabbath School program is a Bible-based study approximately 60 minutes long which nurtures spiritual growth in members and visitors who join in this time of study, fellowship, and outreach. Some of these Bible studies are catered to meet specific needs in the congregation or community.

Adventist Community Services

Adventist Community Services is the humanitarian agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that works within the United States and Bermuda. Adventist Community Services meets people’s immediate needs through social services including:

  • Food and clothing distribution
  • Tutoring and mentoring programs
  • Youth volunteer groups
  • Health screening
  • Education
  • Inner city missions
  • Disaster response

Health Ministries

The mission of the Phenix City Church Health Ministries department is to share hope and wholeness through the healing power of Christ. The focus is on total wellness, related to the physical, mental, and spiritual, as well as the emotional and relational aspects of health.

It Services

We support the Gospel Mission through technology ministries. Our core values are, “Trust in God, Ministry through Service, Integrity, and Visionary Solutions.”

Men’s ministry provides direction in addressing the issues facing men in the church today. This ministry is committed to providing men with a vision of God’s plan and purpose for their lives, which includes spiritual growth, effective leadership in the church and home, and living Christ-centered lives of purpose and integrity.

Pathfinders is a world-wide organization of youth focusing on community service and building a relationship with God. The organization, sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, welcomes and encourages young people of any religious affiliation to join who promise to abide by the Pathfinder Pledge and Law. The program is designed for children ages 10-15 and has almost 2 million members across the globe.

Pathfinders encourages a wide range of activities for the purpose of teaching children valuable life skills. From community projects, camping and survival skills, nature and environmental conservation, to vocational skills, healthy living, and spiritual development, children have the opportunity to explore their world through hands-on learning.

Prayer Ministries

The focus of Prayer Ministries is to spiritually strengthen and support every member, ministry, pastor, and administrator at every level of the church by fostering the three fundamental elements of the Christian life—prayer, Bible study, and active ministry.

Prison Ministry

The purpose of Prison Ministry is to change lives spiritually, physically, and emotionally through the word of our testimony and the compassionate call of Christ. Through teaching the everlasting gospel and the 3 Angels’ Messages, we prepare disciples to finish the work and prepare to see Jesus!

Personal Ministries

Personal Ministries is a facet of the church whose origin can be traced to the beginning of Seventh-day Adventist history in the 1860s. It endeavors to inspire, motivate, equip, train, and mobilize all members for dynamic Christian service with the conviction that “The church of Christ is organized for service” (Ministry of Healing, p. 148) and “Every son and daughter of God is called to be a missionary; we are called to the service of God and our fellow men” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 395
